Any i5 model at 3gHz or more should do well enough, and 16 gigs of decent Ram will get you there and apple seems to favor lower clock speed RAM which will make your asset menu load slowly every time you change tabs. What I do not know is how the rest of the Mac components will do with PlanCo. Radeon Pro 5700 XT: Same deal as the 5700 but MORE. Radeon Pro 5700: Significantly outperforms my rx570. Radeon Pro 5500 XT: Generally outperforms my rx570 according to userbenchmark (again, imperfect but worth something) and will be sufficient as a GPU for a smooth PlanCo experience. The 5300 will not provide the PlanCo experience you seek. Radeon Pro 5300: rx570 outperforms this card by factors of about 20-70% across the board. I used the (robust but imperfect) as a tool to compare these cards against my rx570 which I feel is providing the experience you seek.
